Why can't we bridge the data divide?
We know data is critical to making decisions, accelerating success and measuring progress. But it appears to be mainly limited to creating commercial value rather than solving social and environmental problems such as climate change or global inequality.
This World Economic Forum article says that 67% of non-profits lacked expertise in using data for their work. If data is so important for our progress, how can we solve this digital divide to ensure it is being applied to the most pressing issues?
